In the morning session, the Red faced the Big Green for a total of six races, one of which the Huskies also competed in. In the 2V4, which featured all three teams, the Big Green took the win with a time of 8:12.38. The Red came in second, clocking an 8:17.79 time, and the Huskies came in third, clocking an 8:32.09 time.

Senior pitcher Maxine McCraw closed out game two, securing the series win and Cornell’s second straight victory. The winning pitcher was freshman Mila Fiordalisi, who gave up two runs in four innings and struck out two.
“Game three saw a solid start from Keene and strong offensive and defensive performance all game,” Holcombe said. “We left with a W, and a performance that felt like us again.”
The addition of Izzy Daniel ’24 brings the total number of Cornellians currently in the PWHL to six.
Along with earning the right to host the conference tournament, the Red boosted CJ Kirst to become the highest-scoring player of all time.
On the season, Cornell has committed just 20 errors on 880 fielding chances which come out to a .977 fielding average. This is 31st across Division I teams and first in the Ivy League.

As the dust settles on what was a sprint to the end of a turbulent Cornell hockey season, there remain endless questions about how the 2024-2025 season unfolded, and how things might change for 2025-2026.
“We came in on Wednesday, showed up and took care of business,” said head coach Julie Farlow ’97. “It was a pretty positive feeling for sure.”
“We know we will make it back next year,” Sponer said. “We know that we will be more experienced and play under pressure better. Our goal is always to work together and play as a team.”
While the Cornell women’s rowing team achieved victory in the 3V4 event, the cup ultimately remained in the paws of the Tigers for the 10th consecutive competition.
