A female student has reported that she was assaulted in on Cornell's campus Wednesday morning, according to the Cornell University Police Department.
The student said she was assaulted at approximately 11 a.m. on the pathway between Barnes Hall and Olin Hall. The perpetrator fled the scene in an "unknown direction" following the incident, the CUPD statement said.
Reporting the incident today, the victim described the perpetrator as a college-aged male with brown hair who was wearing jeans and a black jacket, according to the police.
Investigation of the incident is open and ongoing.
