The Sun wants to know.
That is why we are thrilled to share with you a special project, the first-of-its-kind for The Sun: this October, in collaboration with The Ithacan, we will be sitting down with Ithaca voters to hear your hopes, worries and thoughts about our city and our country.
You’ll be asked questions about how you feel about our economy, what you think about our elected leaders and much more, in the hopes of accurately representing the general mood of our community ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
We also want to make clear we are serious about accurate representation — whether that be political ideology, ethnicity, income, sexual orientation, age, gender identity and so much more. We want to portray Ithaca as it is.
If you are interested (and registered to vote in Ithaca) our focus group will start at 10 a.m. on Oct. 3, at The Sun’s office on 139 W. State St.
