Slope Day draws thousands of Cornellians as they celebrate the end of the semester on May 6, 2026. The Chainsmokers served at the event's headliner with Daya also performing. Early 2000s classics rung out from far above Cayuga's waters, including the Daya's 2015 classic "Hide Away" and "Closer" by The Chainsmokers.
Cornellians pack Libe Slope for a day of music and celebration. Attendees were also greeted with food trucks and a large inflatable dome during the 2026 Slope Day.
The Chainsmokers finish their set and wish the crowd a happy summer, promising to see everyone “out there". Next year's headliner will likely be announced between late April and early May.
