On Saturday, June 14, thousands of community members waved American flags, held signs and marched through Ithaca's Washington Park as a part of "No Kings Day."
The "No Kings" protest was a nationwide day of rallies and "defiance" centered around "reject[ing] authoritarianism" amid the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army's founding which coincided with President Donald Trump's 79th birthday, according to the No Kings organization's website.
