Biography: Jasmine joined The Cornell Daily Sun during her freshman year. In March of 2009, Jasmine became The Sun's first Assistant Managing Editor in several years. Her responsibilities include working on The Sun's special issues, overseeing the senior editors and working closely with the web and video sections on multimedia projects. Jasmine served as one of The Sun's news editors from March 2008 to February 2009. Before that, she was a senior writer and head of the diversity beat. Jasmine has also worked as a Sun Production Assistant for three semesters. She is studying psychology and communication and has wanted to be a journalist since she was 12 years old. During the summer of 2008, Jasmine interned at The Forward Newspaper in New York City.
