Long Winter Break Prepares Fencing Squad for meeting at Temple

The fencing team is looking to capitalize off of last year’s rookie class success, having already given strong performances this season at the Temple Fencing Open and the Vassar Invitational, where it bested all six teams it faced by a substantial margin. 

The Cornell fencing team is still reeling nearly a week after The New York Times ran a front page piece on gender equity, calling the program’s ethics into question.

Sophomore epee fencer Christie Robinson has been an emotional leader for the fencing team, as the Red vies for an Ivy League title.

The fencing team has managed to rally around the leadership of junior Rebecca Hirschfeld as it looks to achieve success this season.

ADMINISTRATION WILL NOT DISCLOSE COMPENSATIONS: President Skorton rejected S.A. Resolution 12, which asked the University to release the executive compensation of its top administrators.
