Tomorrow, the women’s soccer team will conclude its season when it travels to take on Dartmouth.

The Red (1-12-1, 0-6 Ivy) has failed to produce a Ivy victory so far this season, so this will be the final chance for the team to pick up a League win and end on a high note.

“Our last few games have been heartbreakers…we just want to get some points to show that we’re that good team that we know we are,” said junior forward Lena Russomagno.

Cornell will need a strong effort to take on this Ivy rival. The Big Green (9-7-0, 3-3), who lead the all-time series against Cornell 17-7-5, claimed victory in three of its last four matches and picked up a 2-1 win over Bryant last weekend. The Red hasn’t beaten Dartmouth since 1995, yet Cornell feels its team is prepared and capable of ending that streak this weekend.

“We’ve been playing a lot and working on shooting and adapting our speed of playing to how Dartmouth is going to come out,” Russomagno said.
