CORNELL PUSHES FOR ANTI-PLAGIARISM SOFTWARE: Provost Kent Fuchs approved a faculty senate resolution that calls for the implementation of the controversial plagiarism detection software Turnitin, which he hopes will come into effect campus-wide.
COLLEGETOWN TERRACE PLAN UPDATE: At a special Planning and Development Board meeting on Monday, John Novarr, his team of developers and the board continued to revise his plans for the Collegetown Terrace project, which hopes to demolish 29 buildings and create 16 new ones. In response to requests from the board, Novarr has already redesigned much of his original proposal, altering the plans from larger apartment buildings to smaller, separated structures.
