Cornell and New Mexico each received 38 points in the coaches poll this week. Cornell is ranked No. 27. Fortunately for Dartmouth, Cornell still remains outside the Top 25 as the Green are currently riding a 39-game losing streak against ranked opponents.
Senior Jeff Foote ranks as the Ivy League’s top rebounder with 8.6 boards per game. Senior Ryan Wittman easily leads the conference in three-pointers with 62. Yale’s Alex Zampier and Columbia’s Noruwa Agho are tied for second with 39.
During its first 16 games Dartmouth managed to shoot better than 40 percent from the floor only five times. In comparison, Cornell never shot lower than 40 percent from the field in any of its contests this year. Furthermore, the Red shot better than 50 percent from the floor in six of its 19 games this season.
