In women’s squash, it is what the Cornell team did this weekend at the CSA Team Championships in New Haven, Conn. After losing, 6-3, to third seed Penn on Friday and 5-4 to seventh seed Stanford on Saturday, the Red rallied for a 7-2 victory over Williams and came in seventh overall.

This weekend, the women’s squash team will play in the CSA National Championships at the Brady Squash Center in New Haven, Conn. Forty other teams will participate in the tournament, which is divided into six divisions. Cornell will compete for the Howe Cup in the A Division, alongside Harvard, Trinity, Penn, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Williams and Dartmouth.

Squash to Compete At CSA Individuals

This weekend, select members of the men’s and women’s squash teams will travel to Williamstown, Mass., to compete in the CSA Individual Championships at Williams College. Representing Cornell from the men’s team will be junior co-captain Chris Sachvie, sophomores Will Hartigan and McKay Claghorn, and freshmen Alex Domenick, Dave Hilton and Thomas Spettigue. On the women’s side, the Red will rely on freshman Shivangi Paranjpe, sophomore Jennifer Gemmell, juniors Rebecca Hazell and Liza Stokes and senior Alex Cornett, who will be competing in her last collegiate match.
