Gymnastics Places Second at Invitational

Just a week removed from beating Towson in Ithaca, the gymnastics team traveled to the Tigers’ den and was unable to repeat its performance on the road. Despite scoring its highest total of the season with a 190.850, Cornell finished second behind host Towson (192.150).

Cornell’s best performance of the year was good enough to distance itself significantly from third-place finisher and Ivy League rival, Penn. The Quakers put together a 186.400, also their highest score of the season.

Gymnastics Narrowly Misses Taking First Place in Big Red Invitational

It was home sweet home for the gymnastics team this weekend, as it took second place in the Big Red Invitational. With a score of 190.200, Cornell raised the bar and got its highest score of the year, finishing just .35 points behind the meet’s winner, Bridgeport.

Golf Spring Season Begins With Road Trip to Towson Invitational

The golf team kicks off the spring half of its season this weekend when it travel to compete at Prospect Bay Country Club in Towson, Md., to compete in the Towson Invitational. The Red is eager to get a fresh start to this season and get back into the groove of playing competitive golf.

“We’re extremely excited,” said junior Robert Cronheim. “We’re ready to go out and play some competitive golf again. We’re all very eager to get back out there.”

The Red got their first taste of outdoor golf in months over spring break when they traveled down to Orlando, Fla., for the week. Led by lone upperclassmen, Cronheim, the Red returned to the course with vigor.
