South Park Recap: 'A Taco Within a Taco' Within an Inception Spoof

A. Drew Muscente  —  Oct 24, 2010

I’m going to offer a conservative estimate – I’m one of a dozen people who hasn’t seen Inception (It’s on my list of things to do, I swear).  But after watching this week’s South Park, I’m a little less intrigued by the idea of following “a taco within a taco.”  That quote makes as much sense as the plot of the movie, I presume.

Nussbaum at Cornell: The Sequel

Nikki Nussbaum  —  Jan 27, 2009

I’ve been finding the approaching date of my graduation infinitely more tolerable thanks to the upcoming matriculation of my younger sister. Having applied early and been accepted to Cornell, she is, needless to say, pretty excited about coming here. Her excitement pales in comparison to mine as I think about the prospect of vicariously living my college days over again. Every time I talk to her, all of the skepticism and bitterness I’ve acquired from four years of writing 15-page papers and nearly getting frostbite seems to melt away, leaving nothing but unbridled enthusiasm along with the kind of Cornell spirit that can only be represented with a large foam finger.

Here’s a Toast: Looking Beyond May

C.J. Slicklen  —  Jan 21, 2009

I frequently look forward to long breaks between semesters because it gives me an opportunity to escape Ithaca and get back in touch with reality. To unwind, I try really hard to stay away from Facebook, Gmail and Cornell’s homepage.

I try, but I usually fail after about a day or two.

Something draws me back to this place. Something makes me start counting the days until I brave the four-hour drive from Northern New Jersey to Upstate New York. I find myself looking ahead to another great semester filled with stories and learning experiences.
