George Desdunes '13 died Friday morning after he was found unresponsive in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house. Police are investigating the death but do not believe it was a suicide.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting early Tuesday morning at 301 Maple Ave. Police are continuing their investigation.

Matthew Zika ’11, a 21-year-old student in the College of Engineering, is believed to have died Friday afternoon after dropping from the suspension bridge over Fall Creek Gorge, according to University and law enforcement officials.

Rescue workers from the Ithaca Fire Department recovered the body of William Sinclair ’12, a student in the College of Engineering, from Fall Creek Gorge near the Thurston Avenue Bridge around midday Thursday, according to the University.

Rescue workers recovered the body of Bradley Ginsburg '13 from Fall Creek Gorge yesterday after the Cornell University Police Department received a call at about 10:10 a.m. that a body had been spotted under the Thurston Avenue Bridge.

CUPD is leading the investigation into the events that caused Ginsburg’s death. As of Wednesday night, there was no information available about the nature of Ginsburg's death. University officials declined to offer any additional details about the situation.

Mark von Bucher '12 died Tuesday night from head injuries he suffered while skiing in Utah during Winter Break. A brother in the Psi Upsilon fraternity, von Bucher was a pre-vet student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Clayton DeFisher ’11 died early on Jan. 1 after apparently suffering cardiac arrest at a New Year’s party in Williamson, N.Y.

Since walking onto East Hill three years ago, Adam Frey ’11 showed himself to be one of the University’s most tenacious competitors in any venue. Frey died on Dec. 26 after a battle with cancer that lasted nearly two years and showcased all aspects of his winning personality.

Oliver S. Schaufelberger ’11 died at his home in Lebanon, New Jersey on Jan. 13. Schaufelberger was an environmental science major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and was heavily involved on campus.
